Last updated: June 2026These terms apply to all stays at Inverness Let, a self-catering holiday property in Inverness, Scotland. By confirming a booking you agree to these terms.
1. Bookings
Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed availability and rental price, and confirmed the booking in writing by email or message. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry.
2. Occupancy
The property sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. This number must not be exceeded without our prior written agreement. Only those named in the booking may stay at the property.
3. Payment
Payment terms — including the total cost, any deposit, and payment due dates — will be agreed and confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation
Cancellation terms will be set out in your booking confirmation. We strongly recommend that guests take out appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
5. Arrival and departure
Arrival and departure times will be confirmed at the time of booking. The property must be fully vacated by the agreed departure time. The full address and access details will be provided after booking confirmation.
6. Care of the property
Guests are expected to take reasonable care of the property and its contents, and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged to the lead guest.
7. House rules
- No smoking anywhere inside the property
- No pets
- No parties or events
- Please be considerate of neighbours at all times
8. Wi-Fi and utilities
Wi-Fi is provided for reasonable personal use. You must not use it for any illegal activity.
9. Liability
We take reasonable care to ensure the property is safe and well maintained. However, we cannot accept liability for accidents, personal injury, illness, or loss of property during your stay, except where required by law. Guests are responsible for ensuring their own travel and personal insurance is in place.
10. Our right to terminate a booking
We reserve the right to ask guests to vacate the property immediately if these terms are seriously breached, without liability for any refund.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
